Welcome to TrueSelf Coach. These Terms & Conditions (the "Terms") govern your use of the Platform, operated by César Francisco Méndez García (an individual). By creating an account or using the Platform, you accept these Terms.
1. Service description
TrueSelf Coach is a software platform that (i) lets wellbeing professionals ("coaches") track their clients' progress between sessions, and (ii) gives clients a journal, habits and wellbeing-tools app. TrueSelf is a technology tool; it does not provide health, medical or psychological services.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract.
3. Accounts
You sign in with your Google account. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your access confidential.
4. Roles: coach and client
- A client who signs up via a coach's link is linked to that coach, who can view their progress data.
- The coach is solely responsible for their professional relationship with their clients and for complying with the rules applicable to their profession. TrueSelf is not a party to that relationship and does not supervise or endorse any coach's content or advice.
5. Plans and payments (coaches)
- Free plan: free, with a client limit and no AI features.
- Premium plan: $39 USD/month or $390 USD/year, with unlimited clients and AI features.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel.
- You may cancel at any time from the subscription management portal; you keep Premium access until the end of the period already paid.
- Unless required by law, payments are non-refundable for periods already elapsed.
- We may change prices with reasonable prior notice; changes apply to the next period.
6. Acceptable use
You must not: use the Platform for unlawful purposes; breach the security or access of other users; upload illegal or infringing content; or attempt to bypass plan limits or technical measures.
7. User content
You retain ownership of the content you record (journal, reflections, etc.). You grant us a limited license to store and process it solely to operate the service for you and your coach.
8. Intellectual property
TrueSelf's software, brand, design and content are owned by its operator and protected by law. You are granted no rights to them other than the use permitted by these Terms.
9. Artificial Intelligence features
Some features generate AI content. Such content is for guidance only, may be inaccurate and is not professional, medical or psychological advice. Use your own judgment.
10. Medical and professional notice
TrueSelf is a wellbeing tool. It does not replace medical, psychological or professional care. Do not use it for emergencies. If you have a health crisis, contact emergency services or a qualified professional.
11. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Platform is provided "as is", without warranties of availability or results. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Total liability is limited to the amounts you paid in the previous 12 months.
12. Indemnification
You agree to hold the operator harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Platform or breach of these Terms.
13. Termination
You may stop using the Platform and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Mexico, waiving any other jurisdiction.
15. Changes
We may update these Terms. The current version will be posted on this page with its date. Continued use means acceptance.
